Air Liquide Bulgaria’s safety policy is directly linked to the environmental protection since in Air Liquide we think that a quality product is the one that adds value to our customer and DOES NOT contribute to the environmental pollution.

Air Liquide has a dual way of dealing with this issue: it ameliorates its production by saving energy, simultaneously supporting its industrial customers to produce "clean" wastes.

Air Liquide's activities do not pollute since it uses air as its primary material. However, the air separation demands energy consumption. For this reason Air Liquide uses energy efficient methods that reduce energy consumption on acceptable levels.
As far as its customer is concerned, environmental perseverance is one of the main development axes of its 8 research and development centres around the world. Depending on its customers' activities Air Liquide is focussed on improving the production procedures and the treatment of all kinds of wastes and by-products.

Some examples: Usage of oxygen diminishes 7 times the smoke coming from waste burning, Hydrogen is used for the deflurazition of fossils, Ozon replaces chlorion in the whitening of the paper pulp, etc.
