Visit of His Excellency the Ambassador of France Mr. de Poncins in the plant of Air Liquide in Pernik

During the visit, His Excellency acquainted with the operations and the equipment of the modern air separation unit, which Air Liquid built in the beginning of 2009. Mr. de Poncins observed the process of extraction of Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon and the provision of the ready for use gas, directly to the customer – the new rolling mill of Stomana Industry.

The company is on the Bulgarian market since 1999 and owns and operates 2 plants with installations for air separation - in Pernik and Pirdop - which produce Argon, Nitrogen and Oxygen and a cylinder filling station in Gabrovo. High quality products and services, extensive international experience and guaranteed safety are the main priorities of the company, which gains it the top position in the industrial gases business in the world.

The visit took place at the invitation of Mr. Francois Court - General Manager of Air Liquide Bulgaria.

"It is a great honor for us that His Excellency Mr. Etienne de Poncins accepted our invitation to visit our plant in Pernik. In the last 10 years Air Liquide invested 25 million Euros in Bulgaria – in the two air separation units in Pernik and Pirdop and the new filling station in Gabrovo. Our capacity development  will continue in 2010 with the opening of another filling station and the development of a distribution network throughout the country.The visit of Mr. de Poncins is a proof that the company's efforts are in the right direction and an additional motivation and incentive for our future development "- said Mr. Court.
